How the Franchise (Excess) Works — Real Scenarios
You’re at fault
You pay the franchise amount (Rs 25,000; young driver Rs 30,000). KLS handles repairs.
Third party is at fault
Their insurer covers our repair. You pay nothing once responsibility is confirmed.
No one accepts fault
Each party pays their respective franchise while insurers investigate.

Reduced Excess

In Case of Accident or Damage
Immediate Steps
- Ensure everyone is safe. Do not move the car unless necessary for safety.
- Call KLS support 24/7 (number on your contract/keys).
- Call police if required; obtain report/reference number.
- Take photos/videos of the scene and all vehicles involved.
- Exchange details with third parties and witnesses.
